PRS-M4DT is an advanced drone recovery system with a parachute, designed for DJI M4D and DJI M4TD drones operating with the DJI Dock 3. The system is developed for safe flight over populated areas and complies with key international safety standards in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles.
This system enables rapid parachute deployment—in less than 0.5 seconds in the event of a failure—significantly reducing the risk of drone damage and danger to the surrounding environment. The device consists of an electronic module that powers the Parachute Pod™ and a flight termination system (FTS), ensuring automatic emergency response.
For operators in the European Union, the PRS-M4DTEX version is available, which includes an independent FTS and is fully compliant with EASA MOC 2511 and MOC 2512 requirements, allowing use under C5 and C6 categories. Additionally, the FTS-M4DTEX variant offers a standalone solution with only the flight termination system (without a parachute) for scenarios that require enhanced safety protection.
